"American Beauty" for Elléments Magazine

Recently, I had the pleasure of being in print with Elléments Magazine again for their March beauty edition! Needless to say, the Elléments team excelled themselves and produced two outstanding books of beauty that I was very privileged to be a part of!

Inspired by my trip in October to Los Angeles to shoot Riptinka's new campaign for Spring/Summer 2013, for this editorial, I took influence from the beautiful waitresses of Cafe 50s diner located just past Westwood, on the way to Santa Monica. Using earthy tones, my team and I threw back to the 50s and 60s, choosing to style with beautiful beehives and fun pin curls, complete with pussy-bow and Peter Pan collar necklines. 

On a side note - am I the only one who finds the similarity of models Melissa and Tamzin unbelievable?!
